Did you know that a $50 Creative Kids Voucher is available to all eligible children in NSW to help to pay for registration, participation, and tuition costs? The voucher covers creative arts, speech, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons and activities. To use your Creative Kids voucher, Lake Macquarie has more than enough places for you to choose from. Check out the list below of just a few of the many providers in Australia.
So, what makes you eligible? Your child must be a resident of NSW, be aged between 4 ½ years and 18 years and be enrolled in school (Kindergarten to year 12 or home-schooled or enrolled in secondary education at TAFE NSW) and be a current Medicare cardholder. If you’ve already applied for and used the $100 Creative Kids voucher for 2023 you are not eligible for this $50 voucher. However, if you haven’t used a Creative Kids Voucher, the revised voucher has now been reduced in value to $50. You must use it before 31st January 2024.
Next year the rules change and vouchers will only be available to NSW kids whose families claim Family Tax Benefit Part A. To apply for the current voucher click: Apply for Creative Kids Voucher
