From humble beginnings
Kristy started Pitch Perfect Music Tuition in 2018 with face-to-face classes. Like any business, the first 12 months is about establishing your name, building strong word of mouth, and retaining students. It wasn’t long before Kristy started adding classes to meet the demand, however, her goal has always been to keep the group lessons small and focused.
Now offering lessons for children ages 4-13 years, her classes are grouped by age include 4-7 years, 8-11 years, and 10-13 years. You’ll find a selection of after-school classes in each age group across the working week. As the student intake grows, Kristy and her vocal coaches continue to accommodate more classes.
Pitch Perfect Music Tuition is passionate about teaching their children how to sing correctly! But even more so, they encourage self-confidence and friendship. It’s an environment where students are encouraged to be themselves, encouraged to learn, grow, and to use their voices.
Pivoting classes online during COIVD-19
Pitch Perfect Music Tuition was already in the process of offering online classes as well as face-to-face. When the climate changed with COVID-19, Kristy and her team were able to fast-tracked this platform. They know how important it is for students to maintain their relationships with friends. It’s also important to have a creative outlet available during a global crisis.
Kristy and her team work on vocal and performance techniques providing students with the closest experience possible to one-on-one tuition. They have their own ClassDojo Reward system, plus students are rewarded with a lolly at the end of every lesson.
