Attunga Park sits in the centre of Charlestown. A wide open space, perfect for kicking a ball around or a weekend game of cricket with the family. Perched beside it is the playground, and the locals love it!
Getting to Attunga Park
It’s super easy to find and even though there’s no designated car park, we found ample parking around the outside of the park. You’ll find it on Fredrick Street, on the opposite side of the highway to the shopping centre Charlestown Square.
There’s a picnic table and toilet facilities at this playground, although they’re still a little dated. It’s a great spot to bring a big rug and soak up the sunshine.

It’s quite the adventure playground with something for all ages. Spread out with an abundance of space, this playground is perfectly positioned under shady trees.
