Lake Macquarie is fortunate to have plenty of community gardens for everyone to join. Australian Air League – Belmont, NSW
The Australian Air League is a volunteer organisation for boys aged 8 to 18 with a passion for aviation. Meeting every Wednesday night (except during school holidays) at Belmont Airport, it’s a fantastic way for kids to explore the world of flight. Lake Macquarie PCYC – Windale
The Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) offers a wide range of activities for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Programs include school holiday activities, boxing, martial arts, gymnastics, and more—there’s truly something for everyone. The PCYC also supports at-risk youth through mentoring, job-ready programs, and vocational opportunities, providing guidance and hope where it’s needed most.
