Bolton Point Skate Park includes BMX features

Bolton Point Skate Park is surrounded by a large, grassy field, with plenty of space to run around, so make sure you bring a ball. While this skate park is only small, if you’re in the area it’s worth a look, especially if the kids love finding new places to ride.

Finding your way to the skate park

Bolton Skate Park is located on the corner of Bay Road and Quigley Road next to an exercise area. There is lots of street parking available but it’s not directly next to the park, you have to walk in. You’ll find a bench seat and water bubbler, but no toilets.

What you’ll find at this park

The skate park at Bolton Point has been designed as a shared space for both skateboarders and BMX riders. Key features include a medium-level ramp ark with hips, a five-foot mini ramp, and a fun box.

Whilst this park is off the beaten track, there’s plenty in Lake Macquarie that are more accessible. Check them out here: Bike, Skate & Scooter Parks. Discover playgrounds, family walks, and adventuring & exploring around Lake Macquire today.

Local kids add some colour!

Year 6 students from Fennell Bay Public School have brightened up the concrete at the park with a fresh dragon design. In conjunction with Lake Mac Council, the city-wide mural project is set to engage local kids, giving back a sense of ownership. What an awesome Lake Ness Monster!
