Arriving at Arcadia Vale
Arcadia Vale Reserve Playground is found on Alexander Parade at Arcadia Vale. There is a car park available right at the playground, toilets, a bubbler, tables, and a BBQ. Sit and watch the kids on the sandstone blocks that have been shaped into seating. Designed to encourage a yarn, it’s a great spot to chat to other parents or caregivers.
The perfect playground for toddlers
Kids can climb up the rock wall and come down the double slide, perfect to do with a friend. They’ll also find a small roundabout and see-saw located close by. There’s a nest swing, baby swing, and swing for older kids, or they can make some music on the pipe instruments. Surrounded by a paved pathway perfect for scooting or riding, this playground has been designed to keep young kids happy.
Picnic, swimming, BBQ
The reserve benefits from natural shade. There’s room to run or throw out a picnic blanket, and enjoy some lunch. The public jetty forms one side of a swimming area. This is a buoyed enclosure that does not have protective netting or barriers. There’s an outside shower available to wash off after you’ve been for a dip.
It’s a great place to head with your family. Make sure you put a trip to this playground at Arcadia Vale on your to-do list. It’s especially good for toddlers and those on balance bikes. Discover more local playgrounds here: Playgrounds & Parks
