If you’re looking for a playground with lots of space for the kids to run and play, then Blackalls Park Playground will be a big hit. Kids can explore the foreshore, fossicking for shells and stones to skim across the water. Then jump on the equipment and climb and play. Spread out the picnic rug and make a morning of it, down on the point at Blackalls Park.
How to get to Blackalls Park
Blackalls Park Playground is on the eastern side of the suburb. Once you turn off Railway Parade into Bayview Ave, you follow it right to the end. It will eventually turn into Blackall Ave. This park has a large shelter near the playground which is available for hire. You’ll find older toilets, BBQ facilities, and plenty of garbage bins for the cleanup.
Playground inclusions
Kids can enjoy dual swings, a nest swing for more than one child, music poles, a seesaw, a small round-a-bout, a slide, and a climbing tower. We loved how the equipment was in natural colours and blended into the surrounding environment. A few tables and a bench seat alongside the playground, make it a welcoming spot for parents to watch on.
If you’re looking for somewhere new to explore, complete with a playground, space for the kids, and the most beautiful shoreline, then Blackalls Park is a must. Grab the picnic rug, some morning tea, and make the most of this little slice of paradise. We surely did!
