Bunya Park Playground & community garden is the heart of Eleebana

You might have caught a glimpse of it as you drove by, however Bunya Park Playground offers much more than you’d expect. We think it’s the heart of Eleebana, and carries a sense of community in the air. Once you step into this park, you experience all it offers.

Getting to Bunya Park

On the corner of Macquarie Drive and Cherry Road, you’ll find Bunya Park Playground. There’s a small amount of parking along Cherry Road, and an easy path access. Discover an undercover electric BBQ facility and seating, plus a bubbler. Complete with a toilet block, this park has everything a family needs to spend a little or a long time here.

Enjoying Bunya Park Playground

We love the playground. The whole area is welcoming and invites you in. There’s a decked platform around a big tree for the kids to perform. They will also have fun on the balance obstacle course. The main play equipment has ample space for the younger kids. They can try their skill on the balance board, or relax on the double swing set.

Warners Bay Community Garden

We’d heard about the community garden, but had never visited. The local community has done such a great job caring for these gardens. Everything is so healthy and growing well.

All the community is welcome. Be respectful, take only a little, leave some for others, and consider contributing your time and skills to help the garden grow.

We didn’t take anything. Instead, we enjoyed a walk through, noticing the strong sense of community and commended the group for their effort.
