Splash some colour in your day with a visit to Whitebridge playground. Stop by the shops at Whitebridge, and grab a coffee and maybe a bite to eat then head over to Harold Wesley Knight Reserve to watch the kids play. With a few picnic tables or sandstone blocks to sit on, enjoy a few hours of downtime outside.
Getting to Whitebridge Playground
Whitebridge playground is located in the heart of the suburb, close to shops, tennis courts, and a small cricket ground. There is allocated parking at the playground, however, on weekends this does fill up quick. You can simply park on the road if this is the case. You’ll find toilets in the car park, which haven’t been updated, but the playground itself is enclosed with two gate fences.
You can make your way to Lonus Avenue from either Charlestown or Belmont. The local shops are within walking distance. They have a wide variety of shops including a pharmacy, newsagency, Foodworks, cafe, and patisserie.
