The kids will go wild at the new playground, skate park, and pump track at Rathmines. Built with adventure in mind their hardest decision will be which area to investigate first!
Rathmines Pump Track
The pump track is of good length and has a few features that beginners on skateboards or scooters can navigate comfortably. The berms have enough shape and height so advanced riders can still have a blast!
Getting to Rathmines Youth Hub
Rathmines Youth Hub is located on Rathmines’ foreshore. You’ll find the pump track and skate park on one side of the road, then just metres across the road is the playground & park.
You’ll find plenty of parking at The Youth Hub and playground. Toilets and water stations are available too.
Rathmines Skate Park
At 1000 square metres, this skate park is now the largest in the city. The convict-constructed plaza-style skate park features a mini ramp, banks and quarters, rails and boxes, a cantilevered wave, manual pads, hubbas, and stairs with a bright colour palette across its surface.
Half court, seating and bolder to climb
The Youth Hub also boasts a basketball half-court, shade shelters, and a bouldering rock.
Rathmines Playground
After a skate, take the kids over the road to the Rathmines Playground for a picnic lunch and a play. There are BBQs, toilets, lots of grass for running around, and an awesome playground for all ages. Check it out here: Rathmines Playground.
