The pump track at Wallsend Active Hub is a great place to grab the bikes, scooters, and skateboards, and head with the kids. This track is ideal for younger riders, or those who are learning how to use a pump track and build confidence.
Getting to Wallsend Active Hub
Head to Federal Park on Boscawen Street in Wallsend. This is the best entrance to the Active Hub. There’s a good-sized car park at the entrance; if that’s full, you’ll find plenty of street parking. Undercover picnic tables, garbage bins, toilets and bubblers can also be found here.
Pump track inclusions
The surface is a smooth concrete track incorporating pump bumps, rollers, and berms. The track has been designed so riders can learn how to pump and generate speed around the loops. It’s a great size for kids to make it around without getting tired.
