The pump track at Wallsend Active Hub is a great place to grab the bikes, scooters, and skateboards, and head with the kids. This track is ideal for younger riders, or those who are learning how to use a pump track and build confidence.
Getting to Wallsend Active Hub
Head to Federal Park on Boscawen Street in Wallsend. This is the best entrance to the Active Hub. There’s a good-sized car park at the entrance, and if that’s full, you’ll find plenty of street parking. Undercover picnic tables, garbage bins, and bubblers can also be found here. However, there are currently no toilets.
Pump track inclusions
The surface is a smooth concrete track incorporating pump bumps, rollers, and berms. The track has been designed so riders can learn how to pump and generate speed around the loops. It’s a great size for kids to make it around without getting tired.
