Bennett Park, playground, and pontoon at Valentine foreshore.

This park has it all; space, BBQ facilities, lakeside adventuring, an awesome pontoon for fishing, and a playground. Bennett Park at Valentine NSW is waiting for your family. Pack your picnic blanket, a soccer ball, a frisbee, and the fishing rods. Don’t forget to pack lunch, or you can stop by the shops at Valentine to grab some lunch.

Getting to Bennett Park, Valentine NSW

You’ll love the location of this park as it’s right on the point. Turn from Croudace Bay Road onto Tullawalla Road, then take the first left onto Dilkera Ave and follow it to the lake. Straight ahead you’ll see the playground and boat parking area. If you’re up for a lovely walk, at the end of the park is the start of Green Point Reserve walk.

This park has toilets near the playground, and you’ll find tables & bench seats scattered around the park.

Fishing, picnic, and play

The shoreline is perfect for exploring. Kids can search for shells and flat stones to skim along the water surface. I love this shoreline as it looks far and wide around the lake and highlights the size of Lake Mac.

There is a pontoon at the boat ramp perfect for our boating families. It makes a great spot to cast a line. You can also fish from the shoreline, just go for a walk and pick the perfect spot out of the wind.

It’s a very shady park, so if a traditional picnic under the shade of a tree is your thing, then Bennett Park is perfect.

Bennett Park Playground

The kids will climb, swing, jump, spin, balance, and slide their day away. There’s so much on offer for kids of all ages at this playground. We love how Lake Mac playgrounds are all a little bit different. This playground features a seesaw, balance equipment, and banging poles. Kids can play for hours at Valentine.

There’s a swing for everyone, from a toddler seat to a nest swing, and one for older kids or adults.

Fish and chips, a BBQ or just taking some time out for fresh air and exercise, Bennett Park at Valentine should be added to the list. Come and visit Valentine foreshore with family and friends this weekend.
