Bennett park, playground, and pontoon at Valentine foreshore.

This park has it all. Loads of space, BBQ facilities, lakeside adventuring, an awesome pontoon for fishing, and an exciting new playground. Bennett park at Valentine NSW is ready and waiting for your family. Pack up your picnic blanket, a soccer ball, frisbee, and the fishing rods. Don’t forget lunch or you can stop by the shops at Valentine for lunch on the run.

Getting to Bennett Park Valentine NSW

You’ll love the location of this park as it’s right on the point. Turn off Croudace Bay Road onto Berringar Road, then take the first left onto Dilkara Ave, and follow it all the way through to the lake. You’ll see the playground and boat parking area. Park on the street either side of the road. If you’re up for a lovely walk, at the end of the park is the start of Green Point Reserve walk.

This park has toilets located near the playground, and you’ll find tables & bench seats scattered around the park.

Fishing, picnics, and play

The shoreline at Valentine is perfect for exploring. Find shells and flat stones the kids can skim along the water surface. I love this shoreline as it looks far and wide around the lake and highlights its enormous size.

There’s a pontoon at the boat ramp, which is perfect for our boating families but also makes a great spot to cast a line. You can also fish from the shoreline, just go for a walk and pick the perfect spot out of the wind.

It’s a very shady park so if you’re up for a traditional picnic this park is going to tick all the boxes.

Bennett Park playground

The kids will climb, swing, jump, spin, balance, and slide their day away. There’s so much on offer for kids of all ages at this playground. We love how the Lake Mac playgrounds are all a little bit different. From the new look seesaw to the balance equipment, and the banging poles, kids can play for hours at Valentine. Don’t forget to slide with a friend, wonder who’ll win!

There’s a swing for everyone, from a toddler seat to a nest swing, and one for older kids or adults too.

Fish and chips, a BBQ or just taking some time out for fresh air and exercise, Bennett Park Valentine should be added to the list. Come and visit Valentine foreshore with family and friends this weekend. Another part of gorgeous Lake Macquarie to share with our community. Enjoy!
