Lake Mac Action Fest

‘Lake Mac Action Festival’ is a high-energy event held from 17-18 October that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Lake Macquarie. Showcasing action on both land and water, the festival brings together the excitement of on-water speed competitions, classic cars, live music, and an array of family-friendly entertainment.


🌊 ON THE WATER:

🚤🏁 Australian Offshore Superboat Championships


~ When: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2026


~ Where: Empire Marina, Marmong Point (Pit area)

📍 Eleebana through to Warners Bay and Speers Point.



📍 Marmong Point (walk from the Pits to the edge of the Lake)


A live site with music, markets, food stalls and kids’ activities will operate at the Warners Bay foreshore. The Superboats will deliver speed, action and fun for all ages.


Get close to the boats and meet the drivers at the Empire Marina pit area or choose a vantage point around the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie. The Superboats will race from 11:00am through until 3:00pm each day and will visible all the way from Eleebana, through to Warners Bay and Speers Point, as well as the start / finish line at Marmong Point.

🎶 Live Site Warners Bay


~ When: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2026


~ The perfect location to view the Offshore Superboat Racing.



📣 Big Screen will broadcast the livestream racing action.



🎡 Between the races enjoy markets, food stalls, amusements and kids’ activities.


✈ Matt Hall Aerial Display


~ Warners Bay Live Site will be the best vantage point to watch the Matt Hall aerial display team perform some incredible aerobatics.

Times: Saturday 11.40am & 1.40pm. Sunday 11.40am.


🏎️ Lake Macquarie Show ‘n Shine Cars


~ When: Sunday 18th October


~ Where: Speers Point Park



🏆A spectacular array of vintage, classic, custom, muscle, hot rods and motor bikes will descend on Speers Point Park to compete for converted Show ‘n Shine trophies. There will be lucky car prizes, a DJ, food trucks and market stalls.
