Join us at Belmont 16’s for “Sail Our Way” – an inspiring social event designed to encourage and foster a strong and vibrant community of sailors at all stages of sailing pathways.

Keynote & Panel Discussion: Hear from accomplished sailors and experts as they share their journeys, practical advice, and insights on navigating transitions in sailing – from youth to senior classes, club to professional, or returning after a break.

Networking & Mini Expo: Connect with mentors, club representatives, and pathway program leaders. Explore sailing classes and opportunities in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Speaker Line-Up

Keynote Speaker: Sarah Lee – Two-time 16ft Skiff National Champion, sharing her story and lessons learned.

Panelists:
Molly Highfield – Hong Kong 49erFX sailor, PhD candidate at University of Canberra, working with Australian Sailing Team, studying women’s participation in high-performance pathways.

Keisha Day – Active senior competitive sailor at Belmont 16’s, and role model for younger sailors.

Sarah Hoffman – International competitor who progressed through the Belmont pathway.

Jacqui Ellis
– Champion sailor, and program leader with expertise in sailing transitions.

Moderator: Ray Martin – Experienced sailor and engaging facilitator.
