Float Your Boat 2025 is about to light up our lake!

It’s nearly time to head back down to the shoreline of Lake Mac for ‘Float Your Boat’ 2025. With a parade of brightly lit vessels sailing on Lake Macquarie, this is a must-see event for local families. We’re so excited to welcome back this event for 2025. Enjoy a colourful parade of illuminated boats cruising the foreshore, plus more activities onshore. Two separate events held over two evenings for residents on both sides of our lake.

Western Lake Mac

On Friday 20 June 2025 – The flotilla will set sail from Empire Marina’s Lake Macquarie to Toronto, Coal Point and Wangi Wangi. But that’s not all. You’ll find live music, roaming illuminated performances, entertainment, children’s activities and food trucks from 4:30 pm – 8.30 pm.

Eastern Lake Mac

Saturday 21st June 2025 – It’s eastern Lake Mac’s turn to experience the magic across the water. From Empire Marina’s Lake Macquarie to Warners Bay, Eleebana, Valentine and Belmont. Enjoy a feast of fun down at Warners Bay foreshore including live music, roaming illuminated performances, entertainment, children’s activities and food trucks from 4.30 pm – 8.30 pm.
