For a smaller skate park, Holmesville Skate Park makes good use of the space. With a concrete layout, kids can practise their skating, scooting and riding skills. Like many concrete skate parks, there’s plenty of graffiti around, but don’t let that stop the kids from having fun. If you’re in the area or already at the nearby sports grounds for a game or training, it’s worth checking out. It’s a handy little spot to burn off some energy, practise a few tricks, and build confidence on wheels, especially for younger riders who may not be ready for the larger skate parks.
Getting to Kevin Evans Oval
You’ll find Holmesville Skate Park at 60A Appletree Road, Holmesville, right next to Kevin Evans Oval. If you’re already at the oval for a soccer match or other sporting activity, why not let the kids have some fun at the skate park afterwards? There are toilets nearby, along with bench seating where you can sit back, relax, and watch the kids ride. It’s a handy little spot to add some extra outdoor fun to your day.

Holmesville Skate Park is designed for both skateboarders and BMX riders, with a range of features to keep riders busy. You’ll find ledges, rails, hips, tech boxes, and a five-foot quarter pipe, making it a medium-level street-style park. It’s a good spot for kids and teens to practise their skills, work on new tricks, and build confidence on their boards or bikes.
