Cardiff Podiatry Clinic has three Podiatrists, Gail Turnbull , Sherrie Whitehouse and Angela Hakvoort.

Gail has been practising since 1988, making her one of the longest practising Podiatrists in the area. Gail established the Cardiff clinic in early 1995, and the Swansea clinic in March 1990, with prior work for Hunter Health.

Sherrie is an extremely caring and dedicated Podiatrist and has been practising since 1993 , also offering many years of experience and knowledge. She has been with the practice since 2020.

Angela has been practising since 1986, and is a very motivated lady, and has exceptional Podiatric knowledge. She joined the practice on a part time basis in May 2024, after selling her long established practice in Sydney and moving to the area for a tree change and eventual retirement.

Our Podiatrists treat all foot problems from plantar fasciitis, heel pain, ankle pain, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, corns and callouses, and much much more. We also perform annual diabetic foot assessments for our diabetic patients which helps in their overall health management. Angela also has skills in foot mobilisation, which can aid in treatment of painful feet and/or injury recovery.

Cardiff Podiatry Clinic has been open at 44 Thomas St Cardiff since January 2016 and provides ample off-street patient parking at the rear, with a certified disabled ramp access for ease of entry for patients.

We strictly adhere to all infection control guidelines required for our industry, as we know this imperitive for the care of our patients.

We are all registered with AHPRA and can accept referrals and treat people through DVA, Medicare Team Care Arrangements/Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC), Medicare Team Care Arrangements for People Of Aboriginal Or Torres Strait Islander Descent, Private Health Funds and some aged care packages. We are also fully registered with NDIS.

We offer a professional, yet warm and friendly service to our patients and always aim to communicate well with their general practitioners. We meet our obligations regarding reporting for Medicare and DVA referrals. We also strive to remain up to date with current practice, and always exceed our minimum hours of CPD required for registration.
