Rick Latimore and Chris Keating established Finspire Advisers (formerly When Financial Solutions) in 2022, as one of the few independent financial planning offerings in the Hunter region.

We believe that advisers should be independent from products and Super Funds, so they are free to serve our clients and our clients alone.

We are committed to independence, evidenced in three ways:

1. We are commission-free and don’t receive incentive payments from product manufacturers and;
2. We don’t have any ownership links or affiliations with products and Super Funds;
3. We don’t charge asset-based fees.

Our advice is unbiased, we are free to recommend any product approved by two independent research houses.

Rick has worked in financial services for more than 15 years, and as a financial planner for more than 10 years.

Chris has worked in financial services since 2008, and as a financial planner for more than 13 years.

They both worked at Stateplus / Aware Super Financial Services, gaining extensive experience in retirement planning and have a deep knowledge of the complexities of government-defined benefit schemes.
