Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network

The Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network are a Health Promotion Charity dedicated to improving mental health and well-being, providing access to resources, education and care to help prevent Suicide and support those at risk.

We deliver health promotion activities and local community events as well as maintaining a local resource hub at www.connectedtocare.com.au

Connected to Care provides:

- a directory of support services

- links to resources if you are caring for someone or are experiencing a mental health concern

- an events calendar

- information on our current projects

- information about our sponsors, supports and opportunities for volunteering

We value our volunteers and welcome anyone who would like to support our work. Our volunteers help to create and deliver events, advertising campaigns, resources, market stalls and talks at schools and businesses. We currently have 12 Member Organisations and 20 Individual Members and are growing rapidly.
