It's a Pet's Life at PETQuarters - Lake Macquarie's ONLY locally owned pet superstores!

We opened our first store at Glendale in 2011, and the same bloke who opened that store still owns and operates all 7 of our stores across Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland, and Port Stephens. We’re proud to be a family-owned and operated business!

We stock a full range of foods, toys, grooming, accessories, and over the counter pharmaceuticals for dogs, cats, birds, small animals, and reptiles, as well as being the largest freshwater and marine aquarium retailer in the area. Our staff are passionate pet lovers themselves, and we pride ourselves on offering our customers both expert advice and exceptional service. If you have a Pooch Problem, a Cat Conundrum, or you’re in a Fish FRENZY, our staff will happily go the extra mile to ensure you and your pet leave satisfied.

• Mobile aquarium servicing and maintenance

Our passion for the wellbeing of pets has led us to partner with Hunter Animal Rescue (HAR) to assist with raising funds as well as fostering cats in-store. Our annual Santa Paws photos are a huge event, with all proceeds donated directly to HAR.
