Physie (also known as Physical Culture) is the perfect combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility. The benefits are increased coordination, brain development and confidence.
Fun, upbeat, pop music is the soundtrack to a sport that fuses dance styles such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobic dance and even yoga! Our choreography changes annually and is designed for maximum variety and fun.
Speers Point Physie focuses on developing the self-esteem of its students by teaching them to have a positive relationship with their bodies. We are passionate about nurturing students’ total well-being.
Physie is an accepting and encouraging team sport, where every member is supported and motivated to be the very best they can be.

I joined Speers Point Physie Club after a conversation I had with an old friend. I had done Physie as a child and was looking for a physical activity that wasn’t at the gym. I went along to my first lesson and was greeted by the most friendly bunch of woman. I had found the enthusiasm and safety I was looking for. From the experienced Physie girl to a beginner, everyone is welcomed. That was 8 years ago and I still have the same feeling when I attend class. I also enrolled my now 10 year old daughter who has struggled with poor core muscle tone since she was a baby. Her confidence has grown and her memory recall has really surprised me with remembering different routines. Her core strength has improved and will keep on getting stronger. One of the great things is that I can use the Ceative and Active Kids Vouchers for her fees. The teachers are outstanding and really care about the well-being of each and every child and values them as individuals. Speers Point Physie is more than just a dance club, it a community and a family. If you are looking for something different, we would love for you to join and become one of the family.
What an amazing club! The teachers go above and beyond for my daughters. I love that Physie has taught my girls sportsmanship, confidence, and grace in such a supportive and caring atmosphere. I also love the ease of communication and parking for class! No hectic drop offs and pick ups. Do yourself a favour and give this club a trial class – you won’t regret it.
Speers Point physie isn’t just about a dance class. I feel so lucky to be apart of an inclusive club that prides its self on building confidence and friendships.
You won’t regret coming along to a SP physie class where exercise and a good time come together!
