Neegulbah Park Playground is a big hit in Macquarie Hills

Perfectly shaded by nature, the Neegulbah Park Playground in Macquarie Hills is the perfect adventure. Complete with bench seats and a few scattered tables, it’s a lovely spot to venture out and explore. The playground design is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. If you’re looking for somewhere new to explore, add this playground to your list.

Getting to Neegulbah Park Playground

You’ll find Neegulbah Park Playground in the back streets of the popular suburb of Macquarie Hills. Make your way along Macquarie Road and turn into Wentworth Road. Take one more turn onto Lawson Road and follow it to the playground at the end.

There is no designated car park or toilets, however, there is parking on the road. If the field is open, then you’ll find toilets there.

Climbers paradise

Kids can climb up on the nets, ladders, rope swings, climbing walls, and web walls. They’ll have hours and hours of climbing fun on this main structure. Coming back down is a lot faster on the slides.

Obstacle course through nature

Our kids loved the obstacle course. They balance their way through, and can time themselves, or set a challenge. The course is set around a lovely gum tree, so is perfect for kids of all ages to join in the fun.

Swing and ride fun

This playground has a mini-car, round-a-bout, and swing set for the little kids who love to swing and ride. There’s a swing for every child with a toddler swing, a normal swing, and a nest swing to choose from. With soft woodchips under their feet, kids can explore the natural area while enjoying the equipment.

It was a refreshing suprise to visit Neegulbah Park Playground with its unique design. Something new always brings a smile to the kids’ faces. I think the variety of equipment on offer here was the highlight. A friendly reminder to ask the kids to visit the bathroom at home before you leave!
