Surrounded by a large grassy field on one side and basketball courts on the other, Bonnells Bay Playground is a great spot for kids to run, play and burn off some energy. With plenty of play equipment to keep them entertained, it’s an easy place to enjoy some outdoor time. The playground is also next to the Bonnells Bay Youth and Community Centre and Bonnells Bay Skate Park, giving families even more space to explore and play.
Finding Bonnells Bay Playground
You’ll find Bonnells Bay Playground at 275 Fishery Point Road, Bonnells Bay, with easy access from Fishery Point Road. Look for the entrance to the car park next to the Youth and Community Centre. There’s plenty of parking for several cars, making it a convenient spot to pull in and let the kids enjoy some time at the playground.
Climb, swing and play
There’s plenty to keep little climbers and imaginative players busy at Bonnells Bay Playground. Kids can test their climbing skills on the web net, cargo net and rock wall before balancing their way across the surfboard-shaped balance boards. The play area also features a pretend shop counter where kids can practise their counting skills, along with a slide, rocking horse, rocking fish and swings. The large nest swing is perfect for friends to enjoy together, while the sound tubes add another fun element as kids call to each other and wait for a reply.
Make a day of it
With bench seating, water bubblers and toilets close by, Bonnells Bay Playground has plenty of handy facilities to make your visit easy. Pack a picnic blanket and settle in on the grass while the kids play, or bring along a ball for a game of soccer or some basketball practice on the nearby courts.
