How to make your trees

  1. Prepare the fruit: Cut the watermelon and pineapple into larger star shapes for the base of each tree. Use any of the fruit to make smaller stars.
  2. Assemble the trees: Push a skewer through the centre of the largest star to create the tree trunk. Layer the smaller stars on top, working from largest to smallest. Finish each tree with a grape.
  3. Let the kids get creative: Encourage children to personalise their mini fruit salad Christmas trees. They might want to add extra grapes or mix the fruit colours — it’s all part of the fun!

💡 Tip: To make assembly easier, chill the fruit beforehand so it’s firm and less likely to slip on the skewers.
