Hunter Sports Centre (Kaiyu Nungkiliko) opened in 1999 and has grown to become the Hunter region’s premier destination for sport, fitness, wellness and community participation. Following a major expansion completed in 2025, the Centre now features enhanced sport, fitness, community, conference and event facilities, including the NSW Trampoline Centre of Excellence, expanded health and fitness spaces, meeting and function rooms, and improved visitor amenities. Today, Hunter Sports Centre provides inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to dream, develop, belong and excel through world-class facilities, expert coaching and innovative programs.
Our Gymnastics programs offer structured, engaging and safe training environments for children, youth and adults. Delivered by accredited coaches, programs range from recreational participation through to competitive pathways, helping participants build strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence and a lifelong love of movement.
As home to the NSW Trampoline Centre of Excellence, the Centre provides specialist trampoline training with expert coaching, world-class equipment and athlete development opportunities. Programs focus on technique, strength, aerial awareness and progression, supporting athletes from beginner level through to elite competition.
HSC Fit is a modern 24/7 fitness facility featuring industry-leading equipment, strength and conditioning zones, cardio and stretching areas, and dedicated spaces for group fitness. Designed for community members and athletes alike, it promotes health, wellbeing, performance and active lifestyles in a welcoming environment.
The Centre’s Athletics Stadium and Field provides a premier venue for training, competition and events. Featuring a world-class synthetic track, field event facilities, warm-up areas and versatile sporting spaces, it caters to schools, clubs, aspiring athletes and elite competitors across a range of disciplines.
In addition, Hunter Sports Centre offers flexible conference, event and venue hire opportunities within its international-standard sporting precinct. Combined with meeting spaces, community facilities and event-hosting capabilities, the Centre is well positioned to deliver sporting competitions, corporate events, community gatherings and special functions in a professional and accessible setting.
