Volksfest Australia is holding it’s first-ever Volkswagen Festival in Lake Macquarie this weekend 8th-10th September 2023. This family-friendly festival will have something to keep everyone amused. Head down for some fun with your family this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at the Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park.
Can you remember the Kombi your parents drove when you were a kid? Or the surfing trips you enjoyed with your mates? How about the Beatle owned by your next-door neighbour? Relive those memories and admire these much-loved vehicles.
Across the 3 day festival, you’ll experience live music from local talented musicians. There’s lots of market stalls, food stalls, and plenty to keep the kids busy in the dedicated Kids Korner. Enjoy an icy cold beer, wine, or spirit in the German-style beer hall.
On both Friday and Saturday morning join in or keep an eye out as you’re around Lake Mac for the VW cruises. There’s a swap meet arranged for Saturday lunchtime and the VW Show and Shine is on Sunday.

General admission tickets for adults are priced at $5. Kids 12 years and under are free. Car show entry is $30 per car and includes one person. You can purchase tickets online or in person on the day.
