With events planned at five different locations across the weekend, the Lake Mac Festival is sure to bring a smile to your face. Saturday 20th January
Join the fun at one of four different locations on Saturday the 20th. Pack a picnic or enjoy food and drinks from one of Lake Mac’s local businesses, or food stalls. With fireworks lighting up the sky at each of these locations at 9pm, head down to the lake to find a spot for your family to watch. You can choose from one of four sites.
Warners Bay Foreshore
With food and drinks trucks as well as plenty of restaurants there’ll be heaps of choice for something to eat and drink. Enjoy live music and rides for the kids between 5pm and 9pm at the foreshore. Settle in for a fantastic family evening of fun.
A selection of food and drinks vendors will be set up along the newly refurbished Toronto foreshore. Take your chairs and blankets and grab yourself a spot. With restaurants and cafes galore to choose from, your hardest decision will be what to eat!
Belmont – Brooks Parade Reserve
With markets and food and drink vendors set up between 3pm and 9pm you’ll enjoy the perfect evening as you await the fireworks. Discover local cafes and restaurants and try something new while you support local.
Speers Point Park
The fireworks display will coincide with the closing ceremony of the Deaf Games. With food and drinks vendors located in the park there’s plenty of space to lay out a blanket and enjoy your evening.
Sunday 21st January
It’s a FREE community breakfast between 7:30am and 10:30am down at Rathmines along the foreshore. With activities planned to keep the kids amused, live entertainment and a free breakfast.
Between 7:30am and 8:30am you can join in free yoga sessions. Following a welcome by the mayor, enjoy some old school games including egg and spoon races, three legged races, and more. Kids can make their own fish puppet or kite in the kids corner, or join in a spotto activity with guest author ‘Outback Jess’.
All morning there’ll be free breakfast and live entertainment for your family to enjoy. Pack your chairs and picnic rug and settle in for a fun filled morning.
